This project focuseson the load-displacement behaviour of piles which loaded cyclically in axial and/or lateral direction. An engineering model is developed based on the Subgrade Reaction Method (SRM). A corresponding computer model called SRMHYP is a combination of SRM and hypoplasticity (HYP). The simplifications of this model are derived with three-dimensional Finite Element Analyses as well as 1g and ng model tests in geotechnical centrifuge.
