Abstract
This repository contains supplementary research data for the publication “Impact of Ambient Relative Humidity on the Relative Permittivity of PCB Substrates.” The dataset investigates how ambient relative humidity affects the real part of the relative permittivity of printed circuit board (PCB) substrate materials. For each investigated material, a microstrip ring resonator was fabricated and its resonance behavior was monitored over time during controlled humidification and drying processes. The provided processed datasets include metadata such as date, time, target and measured temperature and humidity values, extracted resonance frequency, extracted loaded quality factor, calculated effective relative permittivity of the microstrip line, and the resulting relative permittivity of the substrate material. Additionally, the repository includes a Python script for evaluating and analyzing the provided CSV files, as well as an implementation of the proposed model and its parameter fitting procedure.
