This process flow diagram depicts a biorefinery concept that was developed in the FLEXIBI project: Small flexible biorefineries (Small-scale flexi-feed biorefineries - SFB) are designed in such a way that they can process urban and peri-urban biogenic residues with a variable composition and seasonally fluctuating supply into high-quality products.
