Supersonic flow around bodies of revolution in gaseous water is investigated. A compressible potential-flow in thermo-dynamic equilibrium with direct pressure-density relation describes the flow field. The shock surface in front of the body is modelled by a source distribution. Numerical results show in comparison to well-known results of super-sonic aerodynamics only limited transferability.
