In order to achieve the German climate goals, a transformation of district heating towards climate-neutral heat generation is required. Energy system modeling is of great importance for the investigation of such transformation processes.
In this work, the Python-based framework Tessif is used to model the climate-neutral supply structure of a German city in the software PyPSA, Oemof and Calliope using a common data input and output. In particular, the selection of the input data and the optimization results are discussed.
