The analysis of the influence of relative density, soil saturation and sea state parameters on the stability of sub-aqueous slopes in sandy soils narrows down the range of the relevant parameters. Liquefaction failure of underwater slopes can occur in loose granular soils at dimensionless load amplitudes p* > 0.05. Medium dense or dense soils do not fail under the considered boundary conditions.
