Granules that consist of 1000 primary particles have been generated. To calibrate the mechanical properties, the force-displacement behaviour at simulated compression test has been fitted to the force-displacement behaviour of zeolite 4A granules. The normal impact has been simulated against a rigid wall at different impact velocities. © 2011 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.
