Scattering-type scanning near-field optical microscopy (s-SNOM) is one of the predominant techniques for nanoscale characterization of optical properties over a broad spectral range. The optical response of antennas in s-SNOM is highly sensitive to environmental changes, including influences of the probing tip or neighbouring resonators, making it necessary to analyze such effects in detail.
