Decision making is important in PGE-Product Generation Engineering. Selecting an option from a set of solutions is complex and impacts the subsequent development. Therefore, understanding and investigating concept decisions are an important factor to improve an organization. Decision heuristics are a part of intuitive decision making. Two studies are introduced to show how these heuristics can influence the decision making in PGE. The first study shows, that a nonsense choice can enhance the choice of a similar idea. The second study shows, that many participants decide in favor of an idea based on information they saw just before
