Due to different trends, companies are facing new challenges. One challenge is the handling of complexity in the global value chain and the distribution of goods. This paper describes a methodology to link these company-specific complexities to generic areas of action and addresses the need to expand the understanding of the product. By this linkage company-specific packages of measures in the field of complexity management can be identified.
