The presentation highlighted the key findings of an evaluation of newly implemented mobility hubs in high-density residential neighborhoods in the inner city of Hamburg, Germany. Data was collected in 2019 and 2020. The focus of the presentation was on the interaction of these mobility hubs with carsharing services. I emphasized that the mobility hubs had a positive impact on local residents' attitudes toward carsharing, leading to a stronger effect of carsharing on car ownership. In addition, I addressed the extent to which restrictions on the usability of the mobility hubs (e.g. due to parking violations at the mobility hubs) had reduced the effectiveness of the new services.
