Every day in traffic happens around 3700 death cases, that is, every year 1.35 people lose life due to traffic accidents. Today, the vehicle has become an irreplaceable part of everyday life. No matter if is used to go to the grocery store or to drive the kid in the kindergarten, the car is the basic transportation device. So, on the road exist a great number of traffic participants, starting from pedestrians and up to heavy-duty vehicles, so based on this, the car driver has a very complex visual task, that is, to follow everything around him, and to react on every situation in the way to not cause the traffic accident. This research is based on the determination of the car driver’s visual field, that is on the analysis of how much percentage-wise he has the visibility due to the existence of lateral pillars and mirrors, as well as the analysis of the grade/weight of the visibility. The analysis was conducted by the application of the CATIA software package, RAMSIS module. Future research should cover the characteristic traffic situations, which are the causes of traffic accidents, all with the aim of reducing the number of traffic accidents.
