Heterogeneous requested delivery times are essential conversion drivers for contract manufacturers. Their control is limited when the requested delivery times partly fall below the internal throughput times. A need for rush orders arises. In this work extensive modelings are developed for the throughput times of rush and standard orders as well as for the rush order concurrence. To assure a high logistic performance, an order acceptance prodecure is built up and tested in different configurations of the manufacturing control for rush orders.
