The mutual coupling of a highly integrated Ka-band antenna array with polarization multiplexing is investigated. To obtain the coupling information, advanced calibration algorithms are applied. The dependence on measurement data accuracy is analyzed and taken into account as well as multi-mode coupling of the individual antenna elements. Before being applied to the realized antenna, the algorithms are thoroughly tested with statistical data and results from a full wave simulation of the antenna array.
