In this work, a phased array for the K- and Ka-band is developed, manufactured and tested. A special feature of the phased array is the combination of the transmitting and receiving antennas in a single aperture, enabling full-duplex operation. Because the phased array is designed for mobile satellite communication, it employs a highly compact and planar design and two orthogonal polarizations.
