US remarkably improves the conversion rate compared to non-sonicated conditions. The influence of relevant operating parameters (amplitude, temperature, and pulsed US) on the reaction is studied. This has led to the development of strategies to operate an for energy-efficient operation of an enzyme-catalyzed ultrasonic reactor. A concept for large-scale application of the discovered phenomenon is also presented.||URI:||http://hdl.handle.net/11420/3187||ISSN:||0009-286X||Institute:||Prozess- und Anlagentechnik V-4||Type:||(wissenschaftlicher) Artikel||Funded by:||Financial support from the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology through the ZIM program (Zentrales Innovationsprogramm Mittelstand, Project number: KF 2267708MF2).|
