Geotechnical Laboratory Investigation of Gravity Core M69 392-1

This is a basic geotechnical data set of laboratory experiments on marine sediments from a gravity core from the Mallorca Channel (M69 392-1) consisting of grain size distribution (coupled sieving and sedimentation analysis), grain density, carbonate content, organic content (LOI), water content and water content at the liquid and plastic limit (Atterberg), three oedometer tests (2x IL & 1x CRS), and five CD-triaxial tests (50, 100, 200, 300 and 400 kPa consolidation stress). All laboratory experiments were conducted according to the current European standards. A descriptive dokument is attached to the data set.
