The proposed method is based on the shear-lag analysis in order to describe both the dependences of the normal stress distribution in the fibre and the shear stress distribution in the fibre/matrix interface. The influence of the non-linear elastic behaviour of the epoxy matrix, externally applied stress and the fibre fragment length will be discussed.en0266-3538Composites science and technology19979-1013311339Fragment lengthNon-linear elastic matrixSingle-fibre compositeStress distributionStress distribution in single-fibre model composites with perfect bondingJournal Article10.1016/s0266-3538(97)00064-xOther
