Especially the preliminary design phase, which sets the course for the following design steps, is characterized by uncertain and changing data input. Despite the importance of this early design phase, a specialized and integrated computational support is not available. The objective of the research project WissBaSys is to offer knowledge-based design assistance focused on the preliminary design of high lift actuation systems. Moreover, information concerning a specific drive system architecture and component data can be used for an automated model generation leading to a significant time reduction and enhanced traceability. A capable approach for order reduction of shaft transmission models, as well as the concept for computer-aided modelling, is presented in this article.en2041-3025Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers20113302311Sage Publ.http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/high lift actuation systemsystem designmodelling and simulationflight controlsystems engineeringknowledge-based systemsIngenieurwissenschaftenA knowledge-based approach for design and modelling of high lift actuation systemsJournal Articleurn:nbn:de:gbv:830-8821873410.15480/882.153411420/153710.1243/09544100JAERO85710.15480/882.1534Dieser Beitrag ist mit Zustimmung des Rechteinhabers aufgrund einer (DFG geförderten) Allianz- bzw.
