Both, swash plate position and pump speed are used for controlling system pressure in a hybrid approach. The requirements for the pressure control loop and the design methods for the hybrid control circuits with a load observer are introduced. The new control concept has been implemented into an experimental set-up. The validation and evaluation of simulation results on the test rig are discussed in detail.
