This is due to the specific material properties such as strength, corrosion resistance and biocompatibility. Additive manufacturing processes like laser based powder bed fusion allow net-shape production of parts with efficient use of titanium material. Due to the non-equilibrium solidification after melting, it is necessary to carry out a subsequent heat treatment. In this paper different strategies and results for an adapted heat treatment of Ti-6Al-4V parts are given. Beside the heat treatment, the influences of surface roughness and powder properties on tensile and fatigue properties were investigated as well.enFatigueHeat treatmentPost processingTi-6Al-4VInfluences of post processing on laser powder bed fused Ti-6Al-4V part propertiesConference PaperConference Paper
