For a truly immersive user experience, a solution must provide synchronized feedback to a mass audience with a perceptual delay of less than 20 ms. This paper presents a novel handheld device that delivers 6-Degrees of Freedom (DOF) haptic feedback and overcomes these challenges using analog Frequency Modulation (FM) broadcasting. The system utilizes a hybrid signal architecture, transmitting a continuous analog haptic waveform on one stereo channel and metadata for actuator control on the other. This approach guarantees scalability and low latency between all receiving devices, ensuring an enhanced user experience. A functional prototype was constructed and tested, verifying the feasibility of the proposed FM-based architecture. This research validates a scalable and low-latency solution for haptic experiences in large audiences, opening up new possibilities for artistic performances.enhttp://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/Large Audience Haptics6-DOF HapticsFM Broadcasting for HapticsTechnology::600: TechnologyTowards simultaneous haptic experience for large audiencesBook Part10.1007/978-3-032-32350-7_35
