The first example is the calculation of the sound pressure level in a generic model of a car cabin. The obtained EFEM result is compared to the result of a conventional boundary element method (BEM) calculation. In the second example the model of an airplane shell is used. Here the focus is placed on the structural validity of the suggested method whereby a finite element method (FEM) calculation is used for comparison.enApplication of the energy based finite element method for acoustic calculations in the high frequency domainConference PaperOther
