To exploit these living systems for applications in biotechnology, we have developed a microfluidic cultivation platform with an integrated automatic sampling robot that enables the characterization of biofilms with high spatiotemporal resolution. Moreover, in situ imaging and anoxic or gas-consumption based cultivation can be applied. Biocatalytic productivity can be assessed using a spectrum of analytical technologies.de1868-6249BioSpektrum20202167169Springerhttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Biowissenschaften, BiologieTechnikKultivierung und Analyse von Biofilmen durch automatisierte MikrosystemeJournal Article10.15480/882.373710.1007/s12268-020-1346-x10.15480/882.3737Other
