The initial verification was performed through applying the guideline at Porsche Engineering as an exemplary service provider. As a result, the success factors "knowledge basis" and "knowledge transfer" have been improved by two points on a 1-5 Likert-scale by introducing a SE process-specific knowledge platform and a defined knowledge transfer.en2732-527XProceedings of the Design Society202425232532Cambridge University Presshttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/case studydevelopment service providerknowledge managementservice-oriented designsystems engineering (SE)Technology::620: EngineeringTechnology::658: MarketingComputer Science, Information and General Works::004: Computer SciencesSocial Sciences::330: EconomicsSystems engineering in design practice: a guideline for development service providersConference Paper10.15480/882.968010.1017/pds.2024.25510.15480/882.9680Conference Paper
