In order to compare their potential for a future air transportation system a model has been developed that captures the inter-dependencies of different variables. These include future air traffic growth and fleet composition, airport capacities as well as process times in the landing and take-off cycle. Potential fuel savings and emission reduction for different scenarios are quantified and technology combinations to maximize the benefit are derived.deTechnikZur Reduktion von Kraftstoffverbrauch und Emissionen an VerkehrsflughäfenFuel savings and emission reduction at airportsDoctoral ThesisGertz, CarstenCarstenGertzOther
