The transmitarray is a linear arrangement of five unit cells. Each unit cell provides a continuous phase tuning range of 360° which has been confirmed with numerical and experimental results. The unit cells are formed of multiple single layers of RF-laminate with varactor loaded patches as tunable elements and a slot for aperture coupling. The layers are separated by metal sheets provided with apertures. The transmitarray is designed for a beam steering range of ±30° which has been successfully demonstrated at 24GHz.enA multilayer reconfigurable transmitarray in k-band for beam steering applicationsConference Paper10.1109/ICEAA.2017.8065361Other
