For the controller design a quasi-Linear Parameter Varying representation of the plant was developed using electrical circuit diagrams for both fuel cell and battery. The nonlinearities of the system were expressed by scheduled parameters by which the model of the plant becomes linear in its states and inputs. The battery model was linearized at certain operating points and the derived estimation parameters were integrated as 2-dimensional lookup table into the system representation. The main objective of the controller is to obtain optimal power provision during load transients to an electronic load while keeping the battery's state of charge at a certain level.enNonlinear Model Predictive Control of a PEM Fuel Cell With an Integrated Li-ion Battery Using qLPVConference Paper10.1109/ICCA.2019.8899516Other
