Gleichzeitig wächst der Bedarf an interdisziplinären Kompetenzen der Absolventen:innen, um die globalen Zukunftsherausforderungen wie Klima, Hunger, Schutz von Tieren und Umwelt etc. bewältigen zu können. Hochschulen fehlt es aber meist an entsprechend flexiblen curricularen Strukturen, um diesen Anforderungen gerecht zu werden. Eine Antwort auf diese Problemstellung bietet das Entwicklungsprojekt mit der Konzeption, Implementierung und des Transfers eines hochschulübergreifenden, offenen und digital zugänglichen T-Shape-Modells am Beispiel der 17 UN-Nachhaltigkeitsziele. Das T-Shape Modell ermöglicht eine interdisziplinäre Ergänzung (Querstrich des „T“) zu einem disziplinären Studiengang (Sockel des „T“). Eine weitere Besonderheit des Projekts liegt in der Offenheit des Vorhabens: alle angebotenen Bildungsinhalte sind frei zugänglich und offen lizenziert. Jede Hochschule kann bei der Erstellung der Inhalte mitwirken, jede Hochschule kann die Bildungsinhalte nutzen, jede und jeder kann die Bildungsangebote für die persönliche Weiterentwicklung und -qualifizierung verwenden.One consequence of rapid technological development is that technical courses of study in particular are becoming increasingly specialised. At the same time, there is a growing need for interdisciplinary skills among graduates in order to cope with the global challenges of the future, such as climate, hunger, protection of animals and the environment, etc. However, universities usually lack the corresponding flexible curricular structures to meet these requirements. The development project offers an answer to this problem with the conception, implementation and transfer of a cross-university, open and digitally accessible T-Shape model using the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals as an example. The T-Shape model allows for an interdisciplinary complement (transversal of the "T") to a disciplinary study programme (base of the "T"). Another special feature of the project is its openness: all educational content offered is freely accessible and openly licensed. Every higher education institution can contribute to the creation of the content, every higher education institution can use the educational content, everyone can use the educational offers for personal development and qualification.
