This is capsuled in a model-based development process that considers a shared and clearly defined interface between the different process stakeholders and a logical share of responsibilities. By use of an extensive and sophisticated toolchain at platform level, that utilizes already existing and qualified equipment level toolchains, the configuration creation is highly automated at the design stage. At the V&V stage, a fundamental pillar of development assurance, a platform simulation toolchain for early and continuous validation utilizing a hybrid testing approach is presented that provides a continuous testing capability throughout the development cycle. In the frame of the national German research program TALIA, different stakeholders from industry and academia developed and validated this approach by means of implementing real aircraft system functions.enARP4754ADO-297Hybrid TestingIMAIMA platformMBSESystems EngineeringtoolsCivil Engineering, Environmental EngineeringCommerce, Communications, TransportIntroduction of a dedicated platform level for IMA systems development with an extensive automation tool supportConference Paper10.1109/DASC58513.2023.10311128Conference Paper
