It was shown that ceramized articulating surfaces of CoCrMo total hip joints suppressed the roughening of the bearing surfaces especially during the run-in period. These data strongly supported the development of a low friction/low wear joint with such ceramized bearings.en1662-9795Key engineering materials2002601604Trans Tech PublicationsCeramized SurfaceCoatingHip JointMetal-MetalWear ReductionMedicine, HealthCeramized articulating surfaces of metal-metal hip joint prosthesisConference PaperConference Paper
