To verify the existence of the phenomenon, a sample of logistics companies’ addresses has been selected and the geographic centers of this sample were calculated, using the barycentre of a set of points and then calculating the average distance of these points to the center. The analysis reveals the intensity of the phenomenon between the year 2000 and the beginning of 2017 and explores the attraction factors for logistic companies, including geographic, economic and tax aspects.
