Therefore, it is very important to design the workplace and the assembly processes ergonomically and productively in order to protect the workers and to ensure high labour productivity. However, many methods of analysing ergonomics and productivity require a high level of manual effort, as they are very complex and need a large amount of data to be captured. This article focuses on analysing productivity in assembly processes and presents a concept for capturing the data for productivity analyses with a motion capture system and evaluating the results with a digital assistance system.
