We test our prediction with a dataset from an intra-organizational idea crowdfunding contest. As theorized, ideas are overvalued (undervalued) when evaluator and creator are hierarchically similar (distant). Novelty of ideas amplifies this effect.enSocial Sciences::330: EconomicsDoes similarity between evaluator and creator affect the evaluation of ideas?Conference Paper10.5465/ambpp.2017.152Conference Paper
