Due to their flexibility, matrix assembly systems have shown great potential to solve many resulting difficulties. However, the control of such production systems is very complex due to a large number of possible scheduling plans for the products to be manufactured. Decentralized agent controllers can route orders through the production system while also observing target values such as utilization maximization. However, a full utilization is unlikely, because there is no consideration of the whole system. In this article, a Genetic Algorithm is used to create a machine scheduling plan for a matrix assembly system. This an be used to implement a centralized control system that optimizes the production system as a whole in terms of utilization. Relationships between parameters of the algorithm and achievable workloads are to be established. The results for a ractical use case are evaluated and recommendations for further experiments are derived.dehttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/TechnikOptimierung der Auslastung eines Matrix- Montage-Systems durch Konzeptionierung und Implementierung eines Genetischen Algorithmus für MaschinenbelegungsplanungBook Part10.15480/882.3786https://cuvillier.de/de/shop/publications/8509-simulation-in-produktion-und-logistik-202110.15480/882.3786Other
