For the wireless transmission orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) is used. With this wireless link different positioning scenarios are examined. These include the train in motion up to 100 km/h and standstill. The results show significant deviations regarding the transmission performance. Wireless train-onboard communication is identified as challenge and object of research. The measurement results of this paper will lead to further research to realize and verify secure data transmission.enChannel characterizationOrthogonal frequency-division multiplexingWireless train-onboard communicationExamination of OFDM for wireless train-onboard communicationConference Paper10.1109/RWS.2018.8304981Other
