Abstract
The data refers to simulated CFD pressure fields arround a KRISO cointainer vessel for various sea states. The data set was used to train a CAE/NN model to reconstruct the pressure fields for a test case selection. The CFD fields are interpolated from unstructured CFD grids on two different structured meta grids A and B via an inverse distance approach. Values within the ship geometry are set to NaN. In total, results for 150 parameter combinations (5 different wave length, 10 incidence angels and 3 wave heights) are presented. The data set contains 150 mean pressure fields of both meta grids and 18 corresponding predictions of the surrogate model as well as 501 instantanoues time steps. The full CFD data sets are available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request.
