Abstract
This data set contains 144 maximum separation resistance values from plate separation tests of reconstituted illite on plane metal surfaces. Currently, only the peak, maximum values are provided, which lay the groundwork for the statistical evaluation of the full factorial design within the ANOVA framework. This repository will be continuously expanded, providing more information about the soil, the test stand, and sample preparation. Finally, the resulting test curves for time, displacement, and stress will be provided. Publications of interest will be linked, explaining the factorial design and providing further insights into the related project.
