Bone is a biological tissue affected by several environmental factors during growth. In children orthopedics monitoring, the knowledge of the bone quality can not only help to understand how bone fractures occurred, but also to guide the physiotherapy follow-up. The aim of that review is first to describe the bone growth, and second, to underline elements for physiotherapy follow-up. This review is based on publications about bone growth and on children clinical studies with four criteria: mineralization, geometry, skeletal development and modeling of bone. Level of evidence Not applicable.
