In the social process of learning, objects can play a crucial role. To do so, however, they must have certain characteristics and be used in a targeted manner. In the context of social systems theory, specific theories such as the Actor Network Theory (ANT), Symbolic Interactionism or Affordance Theory offer starting points for this. Using the example of a specific course, we will demonstrate how these can be effectively implemented in academic education.
