The instructions for the method "From Nowland to Nextland" serves as an easily applicable, structured and future-oriented procedure for school administrators and the school community to proactively deal with school development in the digital age. The aim is to develop common goals for schools in the field of digital transformation and media education in creative ways with the staff and the school community. Within the framework of the structured process, the participants go through three guided work assignments. It results in a mapping of the vision of a school, rich in ideas and developed together with the staff, which shows the status quo of their own school, outlines future lines of development and goals for the school and visualises possible measures to achieve them.
