The aim of this compilation is to present the opportunities for cooperative educational processes in academic further education using a few good practice examples. For this purpose, several aspects of a cooperative design are examined, which range from working with institutional partners to individual people and always aim to link theory and practice. The variety of individual needs and interests represents a challenge for scientific further education, the target groups of which are working people and, if applicable, the employing companies. In addition, there is the requirement to cover the cost of the offer through participant fees, which requires special care with regard to a needs-based concept makes such educational offers necessary. The key to this can be a design in direct cooperation between the target groups involved. In the ContinuING@TUHH project the Hamburg University of Technology is developing new formats for further academic education that enable individualized, research project-based continuing education. Cooperation on several levels is a fundamental element and a particular challenge for their design.
