This paper presents a design approach that facilitates the integration of Bulls Eye antennas into conventional printed circuit board design, which reduces the manufacturing cost of planar high-gain antennas. The antenna is composed of a transversal substrate integrated waveguide feed slot and a 3D-printed Bulls Eye antenna with elliptical corrugations. The depth of the grooves is modulated over the aperture of the antenna. The antenna has a gain of 21.9 dBi in simulation and 18.12 dBi in measurement.
