The paper describes and analyzes the performance of two adaptive algorithms with non-coherent (GPS MDVR NON-COH CFAR) and binary (GPS MDVR BI CFAR) integration for C/A code detection in weak GPS signals in conditions of broadband interference. The effectiveness of C/A code detection is expressed in terms of the detection and false alarm probabilities evaluated at the detector output. The numerical and graphical results demonstrate that many factors such as array configuration, number of array elements, beamforming algorithm, number of non-coherently or binary integrated C/A code periods and angular errors in satellite location have a considerable effect on the effectiveness of the two proposed detection algorithms.
