To improve the knowledge on hydro- and morphodynamic processes of Wadden Sea areas, numerical modelling may contribute subsequent to field measurements. This paper aims at finding a method to reproduce the small-scale hydrodynamic and morphodynamic processes in Wadden Sea areas. The capturing of the not measurable hydrodynamic boundary conditions for the numerical model is of main importance for the method finding.
