This inter-disciplinary work presents an architecture of agents capable of social learning. Micro- sociological approaches developed by Mead, Blumer, and Goffman are the theoretical basis of this architecture. Some basic concepts, namely interaction, identity, and frame, are discussed in the sociological part of the paper. In the following, these concepts build the sociological fundament applied to the development of an architecture of learning and situation-specifically framing agents. The heuristic strength of this interactionist socionic approach sketched out in this text is demonstrated by referring it to a research subject that is of central interest for both disciplines, sociology and computer science, alike: social problems and conflict. In a short summary, the potency of this inter-disciplinary approach is determined as well as the potentials of its improvement.
