Blockchain solutions for supply chain and logistics can strengthen the competitiveness of companies. But how should SME in particular approach this topic? Based on 26 expert interviews, we first identify application potentials for Blockchain. We then derive three typical roles companies can assume for realizing these potentials. Our typology can support practitioners in developing a company-specific blockchain approach.
