Studies of intracellular metabolites of Corynebacterium glutamicum mostly were done at levels of biomass concentrations below 10 g L−1. In this work we could show that it is also possible up to 32 g L−1 biomass concentration. Hereby we could point towards a faster filtration process with a modification of the already established automated fast filtration. We also could quantify the influence of a genetic modification of the lysine feedback inhibited asparto kinase in the aspartate metabolism with the automated fast filtration at higher biomass concentrations.
