The normal and tangential coefficient of restitution of different granules has been experimentally studied. The dominant elastic Υ-Al 2O3, the elastic-plastic zeolite 4A and the dominant plastic sodium benzoate were selected as model granules. Free fall tests and impact tests by an electromagnetic canon have been carried out. The influence of moisture content has been determined.
