Cost pressures and the growing need for sustainability in the aviation industry are placing particular demands on the aircraft cabin and its design. This paper therefore presents new approaches to meet these aspects and to develop innovative and sustainable designs for the aircraft cabin. Furthermore, the potential is shown, which can be realized by the simultaneous consideration of different areas and the implementation of a hybrid design.
